GAIMSS'26 will be held in the Univeristy of Bonn, at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics. All lectures and invited talks will be held in the Lipschitz-Saal, located on the first floor of the building.
The campus is situated in the heart of Bonn, within walking distance of the city center, restaurants, and major public transport connections, offering participants both convenience and a vibrant academic atmosphere.
How do I reach the university?
The Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM) is located at Endenicher Allee 60, 53115, Bonn. You can reach it by bus from Bonn Hbf:
Bus 604 (direction Ückesdorf Mitte)
Bus 605 (direction Duisdorf Bf)
Bus 606 (direction Hardtberg Klinikum)
Bus 607 (direction Hardtberg Klinikum)
Get off at the stop “Bonn Kaufmannstr.”. The ride takes about 5 minutes.
Alternatively, HCM can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot from Bonn Hbf.
How do I reach Bonn?
Train : Bonn is easily reachable by train from major German cities. From Frankfurt, it takes about 1.5 hours by ICE train. From Cologne, it takes around 30 minutes by the regional train. Long-distance and regional trains stop at Bonn Hbf, and local public transport connections are available directly outside the station.
Plane : The nearest airport is Cologne Bonn Airport (Köln/Bonn Flughafen). From the airport, you can reach Bonn city center by:
Bus SB60 (Airport Express): Direct connection to Bonn Hbf in about 30 minutes.
Regional train (S-Bahn/RE): To Bonn-Beuel, with tram or bus connections to the city center.
Taxi services (including Uber) are available, which take about 20–30 minutes to reach Bonn city center.
